When Newman’s Own first began, Paul Newman declared that 100% of the profits would go to good causes. The mission continues today through Newman’s Own Foundation. In total, more than $600million USD has been donated to good causes since 1982.
Paul Newman and the Newman’s Own Foundation have an incredible legacy of four decades of giving in Australia and New Zealand. The first grants were made in 1983 a year after the products appeared on Australian shelves. Since then, over $27milion USD has been distributed to over 1000 charities in Australia and New Zealand.
The Australian and New Zealand funding program for 2024 is closed with details of successful recipients to be announced later this year.
