Heart Kids NZ

What a way to kick off 2023!! The Newman’s Own Foundation supported Heart Kids NZ to get 114 heart kids and teens to a camp at the end of January.

In 2023 the Newman’s Own Foundation helped fund two Heart Kids Camps in New Zealand. A physical camp had not taken place for two years due to covid. It was particularly isolating experience for children who already faced restrictions due to their serious medical conditions. The aim of the camps was to build confidence, resilience and self-esteem in heart children and teens, and a sense of inclusion and belonging through experiencing achievement.
