We were so lucky to visit the kids attending the Guide Dogs NSW/ACT Peer camp just outside Canberra during the April 2023 school holidays.

Participation in the camps will allow children to learn practical life skills, introduce different techniques and mobility aids and encourage ongoing connections with like-minded peers. The aim of the camp was to increase social wellbeing, improved confidence, and the development of new skills. Ultimately the camp will enable children with low vision or blindness to explore their potential.
